Back To Fun Book Fair

Back To Fun Book Fair is an event that promotes literacy for children of all ages. Local children's book authors from D.C., Maryland, and Virginia are challenging parents to build up their children in-home library this holiday season. Come join us on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Carriage Hill Community Center located at 3344 Curtis Drive, Hillcrest Heights, MD 20746. The book fair will be happening between the hours of 11 am-4 pm. I hope to see you there.

Shorty and Duwop Kids Hair Symposium

On Sunday, September 2, 2018, Sheeks Brands LLC, invited me to be a guest speaker during the Inaugural Shorty and Duwop Kids Hair Symposium. My presentation topic was How to train, nurture, and manage textured hair to stop hair breakage and promote hair growth. Event location was at The Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center in College Park Maryland. I was also invited as a vendor to sell my book, Coming Of Age: The Easy Guide to Healthy Hair Care for Teens. Shorty and Duwop Kids Hair Symposium was a huge kids extravaganza!

A fantastic opportunity to educate and inspire parents on how to manage their child's texture hair on their own. Healthy Hair & Style Workshop for Teens is an extension of newly released book Coming Of Age: The Easy Guide to Healthy Hair Care for Teens. The purpose of this workshop is to instill confidence in children ages 12 -17 by giving them the ability to make healthy hair choices while learning to style their hair on their own properly. The Workshop is $35 which include a signed autograph copy of Coming Of Age book, hair styling tools, accessories and more.
